About five years ago, I drove across the country with an extension ladder on my roof. The wind whistling over the open end of the rungs made a horrible racket. I bought a roll of gorilla tape, covered the holes, and all was well. it held up at 70mph, and 5 years later it still looks fine, on a ladder that is stored outdoors. Good stuff! Hi listers,

Recently I asked the list for a recommendation for tape to replace that failing on the frame under my van. believe Robert Stevens recommended I look at Gorilla tape. I ordered the widest I could fine and when it arrived I found it was the perfect replacement for the tape that is starting to peal away from the undercoated frame. I've heard from others that the tape holds up for a long time in all kinds of weather. Turns out a friend of mine who uses a wheel chair said he placed the same tape over holes in his wheel chair that were exposed to very wet and divers weather and the tape lasted for years. I'm feeling like this is going to work out great.

Thanks Bob and others for the great tip.
