I have pictures. Unfortunately they're in my camera and my computer[s] don't want to get them out. The canon software which was written for OS 10.4, 10.5 doesn't work. And the downloaded update doesn't work either. [on either computer, the desktop using 10.7.5 or the laptop 10.6.8]

Mike, do you connect your camera to your computer with the usb cable, in order to download....or do you remove the card, slide it into an adapter/thumb usb device to download?

I started using just the card and that eliminated a whole bunch of interface problems. It uses just whatever photo program I have on my computer to store photos, and that allows me to size those depending on what I'm going to do with them.
