I have the ABA 2liter block with a crossflow head, mounted like the factory diesel, using factory parts. Digifant, uses almost all Vanagon parts. Don't want anything else in my 84 tintop with a kitchen. Perfect for me, this. Simple, economical, powerful enough, easy to run as a daily workhorse and shines as a backroad cross country commuter. Worthwhile to try to find the stuff, or a diesel partout. They're around, and motors are really cheap and quite plentiful.
