Volksiebus - my 88 GL has developed a clutch rattle/chatter when the clutch is depressed - Like sitting at a stop light, etc. It's a noise - and the chatter is not a physical manifestation - just rattle/chatter. With the tranny in neutral - clutch pedal out or engaged - no rattle. but push that sucker in - and its Rattle City.

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on?

Thanks,

John
