Had the Westy been mine - would have taken the time to pull the injectors to get at the hoses and clamps for a more thorough inspection. But with a car rental waiting for pickup - and a roll-back sitting idling behind the van with a patiently waiting driver - a quick fix was done with advice to the owner to have it better examined soon. I was told in the conversation that the fuel lines had been replaced about a year before - and they didn't look that bad to me - but it wasn't my call. I did what I could. While the FI hose clamps were not the even-pressure-all-around types - they were at least the roll-edge types which reduce the edges cutting into the hose.
