I once towed a Vanagon on a Uhual dolly. Back in April of 2013. I towed it from the Northern most tip of Virginia down to North Carolina in the mountainous area of the Appalachians. It worked very well I must say. The front tires were up on the dolly and the rear wheels on the road. I towed it mostly at about 60 mph on Interstate I-81 to Marion Virginia then on smaller roads, pulled by my Land Rover Discovery with 300tdi diesel engine. No problems at all.
