The Syncro temp gauge sensor is the same one used on the 1.9L Vanagons. So
is the screw in Temp 2 sensor for the ECU.

it's pretty good.
I looked for a syncro vanagon part that many parts places would have trouble
getting right.

it's the single contact screw-in Temp Sensor for the temo gauge ..
any year syncro vanagon ( I just used 1987 ) ..
syncro's have aluminum thermostat housings...not the plastic one 2WD 2.1
wbxr vanagons have ..
and their gauge sensor is screw-in,
not push in a hole with an o-ring and then insert a clip like 2WD 2.1 wbxr
vanagons have.

if anyone wants to..
see if you can find an aluminum Syncro Vanagon with 2.1 wbxr engine t-stat
housing, and then the screw in singe contact sensor for the gauge.

so far I don't see it.
and then ....I see a diesel engine and a wbxr engine shown in the same
diagram ..
trying to get t-stat housings and sensors for more than one type of engine,
in one picture.

Still ...pretty useful overall.

what ! no Mercedes ?? what's up with that !
