Hi Robert we are currently redoing the curtains of our 85 Westy...we found 8 yards of some upholestry fabric (a walmart closeout) that after having the sizing washed out of it, is filling our needs rather well.. We opted for heavier material,as we live in FL and the stuff we found has a backing on it already... The trick with heavier material is not to have it bunch up too much when drawn closed......this took 2 times to get right on the first set she was working on ,that of rear hatch. My wife is a good seemstress and she is making them using the old curtains as patterns...with some minor adjustments; velcro instead of riveted curtain conectors/new rivets installed to attach to the metal ,nothing major there. The hardest part was finding a pattern we both liked..our 85 is the Savana Sand Gold with brown interior...so far the rear hatch curtains are complete and installed and are a nice upgrade to those potato sacks in there previously. DS
