Back in the days when VW dealers and mechanics knew what a Vanagon was, the factory supplied dealer shops with two-sided flyers called Tech Talk. I scanned the ones I have had lying around and put them into a 14-page pdf here

in case anyone needs to know the factory way to adjust the idle and set the throttle valve, test for bad fuel, and adjust CO content among many other topics.

I'll bet that not much work got done the day these babies hit the mailbox.
