I put a Peloquin in the tranny of my Syncro, which does not have a locking diff. I can certainly tell the improvement of traction in snow or sand. I'd love to have one in the tranny of my '81 air-cooled. That plus Hakkas would be a huge improvement over the open diff and all-weather tires. My '01 Jeep Cherokee has a limited slip diff and I am amazed at how it performs in 2wd, even with almost no weight in the back end. Again with tires with a good tread for snow. Richard |
