I am needing to freshen up my fiberglass bumpers on the 89 Westy. I read very good reviews on SEM Bumper Coater. There are many hues of grey and black, and I am wondering if anyone know what that original color was called? The link to the color chart is: http://www.repaintsupply.com/misc_images/SEM-Bumper-Coater-Color-Cha.jpg

Thanks, Finn 87 Westy Pooh 89 Westy Roo 2012 GTI Autobahn

the westys had satin black finish on the bumpers from the factory. not gloss. theres no color code for it. the only reason they look grey or chalky is because of 25 years of UV rays.

i did my bumpers in Krylon satin black from a spray can and it looks just like they came from the factory.
