I've seen an 86 Wolfsburg Syncro Weekender ..with no tach. Totally weird.

Wolfsburg ...you'd think that being extra deluxe model would include a tach for sure.

In fact.........pretty sure ......the very first apearance of a tach in a vanagon was in the 84 Wolfsburg Westy .. it's a neat tach too .. all black face..the green band version didn't start until the next year I suspect.
