I got to thinking about this. Seems like any vibration in our exhaust
would match up with the motor's vibes....rubber would maybe allow the
exhaust systems to perhaps get just a bit of movement going.... The exhaust
does have a rather long "arm", all depending on being attached to the block
with out breaking at just the one end at the manifold. I'm guessing when
all is right it works but if anything is slightly wrong it breaks.
