V 2.0 of my exhaust lasted a fair while. Due to a lack of knowledge and skill at the time (of which I'm not sure I've gained much in recent years ha ha ) I ignorantly made the driver side brackets so that there was a fair amount of leeway (flex) in the exhaust downstream from the flex bushing. images http://tinyurl.com/o4k5e8y http://tinyurl.com/pyj476e

The muffler eventually failed at the inlet though. Image: http://tinyurl.com/l8upnej It was a Walker muffler so rust was a factor in this, as was the lack of braces between inlet and muffler body (WBX has muffler has these). Backing up into a boulder didn't help. ;) image: http://tinyurl.com/lzcbc5t Up until then, the system was working with quite a few thousand miles on it.
