When I worked as a civilian at Dallas Naval Air Station, the airmen and sailors were prone to hijack deicing fluid and drink it. They had all kinds of ways they believed they could detoxify it, like pouring it over a loaf of bread and letting it set for an hour, then squeezing the liquid into a container, and so on. Nothing they did could remove the toxicants in it of course. mcneely
