Jim,
I've a cracker-jack wood turner friend here in Birmingham that can turn
just about any combination of woods you want. His bigger stuff sells in
the $2-3-4K range. He makes beautiful small things from multiple woods
fitted so tightly you can't see the glue lines. If interested - let me
know. I'll be over at his place later this evening and again on Friday.
I have a mold project going and he does some pattern work for me.
