I'll be the first to admit that I still have a bad habit of not paying close attention to what the Bentley says, but the "How to read wiring diagrams" page, (P 97.4 in my newer Bentley) shows an example of an internal connection ("thin line") about midpoint in the diagram example. It refers to it as a "ground connection", which I find a little confusing, but the fridge relay does show the same "thin line".

Not lecturing anyone, as I don't have the experience level to do so. Just saying.
