Just to clarify.
I drove the van a few years ago when the V8 was in it. It was very nice, very smooth, powerful, and my biggest surprise was how quiet it was. You did run out of first gear quickly, often started in second.
The raised rear deck (and enlarged hole) for the V8 was done very nicely.
I can’t recall what Russ said about why he got rid of the V8 and put in a diesel.
Id be confident the diesel engine was tip top. It was his family van and I know he does not tolerate any breakdowns.
the dash cluster mod is nice isn’t it? I’d be really tempted to do same if my iPad mini would fit sideways in the space. But it is just a tad to large.
