Just wondering what you all think is the best lubricant for a squeaky
speedo cable.  I'm heading the route of fast and easy since I need to pull
my cluster anyway.  I'm thinking of just shooting some spray lube down that
thing.  Then I started wondering, WD-40 (probably too thin), silicone
(maybe not the right choice), lightweight oil (ehh...) or some super secret
only sold on TV lube with PTFE or Molybdenum.  I know my old man would have
pulled that cable out the dust cap and slathered it with white lithium but
I wonder how much would actually stay on it by the time it was fully in
place.  Just wondering if anyone has any other thoughts.
