For the record, the wire I'm tracking down is supposed to supply the ECU (Motronic) with constant B+. As it stands, I think I have it wired in on the load side of a relay that is triggered on when engine is running. I assume this "constant B+" is used to maintain some kind of ECU memory relative to the DTC, adaptive circuitry. Neil.
