Daryl will be greatly missed and was a very special and classy person. We only had the pleasure of being around him twice. Once when we were on the way back to Virginia from Alaska in 2012 and I made an appointment to stop by and have the transaxle fluid changed, not that I thought it needed it, but I had to have an excuse to meet Daryl. While his son was working on our van, Daryl sat with my wife and a map and suggested roads and places we visit on our way home. A true gentleman. And to top it off, the synthetic he used made an immediate and noticeable improvement in the sound of the transmission. The second time was during the 2013 Baja trip organized by Mark Drillock.. You could tell that Daryl was not feeling great, but he never complained around us and handled his condition with grace. We thorough enjoyed being around him and Rennie. We only wish we had the pleasure of getting to know him better, Harold & Faye
