Here in Southwest Louisiana when we plan to store a car for the winter for example we just put a 10 pound bag of rice in a tray or box in the rear floor. It will stop the mildew for at least a month or two, depending on how much rain we get. Big plus is the cost A 10 pound of rice is $6.00 bucks or so, every month is not bad climate control! By the way, make sure you control those little pesky mice's, unless they are big ones, then its Gumbo time and you already have the rice.

Or you could move to Arizona! :>)
