Subject:      Woke Up the Westy Today for Buses by the Beach Bus BRR - 10th
              Anniversary

Just to let you guys know we are still kickin' in Northern Indiana.

Back in late November, I pulled the '87 Westy in barn with a full tank, ran
some Stabil through and put on the trickle charger.  Been a long really
cold winter with several days where the HIGH temp was -15F!  Still 2' of
snow on the ground.  There have been only 3 days with temps above 32F since
January started.

Woke up the bus today - it turned right over and settled down to a nice 900
rpm purr.  There was a small - maybe 4" circle under the transmission of AT
oil.  It did not leak at all when I did an 8 mile test drive, so I'm
assuming it was simply the extreme cold that made the seals leak a little?

Anyway, we are planning to hit Buses by the Beach Bus BRR's 10th
anniversary at Pokagon State Park next Saturday.  We have special 10th
anniversary stickers and some raffle/door prizes for attendees.  Ticket
sales will raise money for The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors.
 Supposed to be a high of 27F and partly sunny, so we are excited about

Been lurking on the list and REALLY looking forward to doing some bus
camping and hitting some great music festivals in Michigan!
