This need to "fool the computer"...That's been my problem with most  OBD
vehicles I've been involved with...A good percent of my "no run/no drive
(till you fix this..) problematic OBD incidents, they seem to be faulty
signals, bad senders, and really nothing wrong *except* the OBD system
itself.  If you're somewhere well-lighted with the skills to follow an
intricate wiring diagram, with an accurate multi meter that you have a clue
about, or a dealer or knowledgeable shop is nearby..you're all set.

But in my experience,  the problem shows at 4am in Pahrump, Nv. In a snow
storm or some such, and it turns out to be a bogus signal giving a false
warning light......or worse...sending the vehicle into "limp home mode" or
making me disconnect the computer/battery, over and over, to move the
vehicle to somewhere where I'm told "You're lucky! It was just a glitch in
the OBD...nothing really wrong".   I don't like em.  Give me actual
gauges...
