What kind of help do you need? If in need of an engine replacement consider that the engine and labor is only part of this job. You most likely will need a number of other parts to do this right including hoses, mounts, various pipes, and some of the exhaust will not be reusable. This can quickly be a $5k job.

For one reason or another, I cannot find someone to fix my '83 Westy here in Lakeland, FL. One man would but works only on vans with carburetors, not fuel injection. Someone else said he would but will not call me back. I have a place in Plant City calling around for rebuilt or used engines in good repair. So I went to Fisher Buggies in So. Tampa; they will fix it, but it means having it towed there, and they have a reputation for being expensive. Any recommendations about them and/or what I should do since I have no mechanical skills myself nor a place to work on it. Many thanks!

Best,

Bob
