Possible gearing issues aside, and not to side track too far, but what
about a Mk3 VR6 OBD1 harness/ECU, transmission brain, automatic
transmission into a 12V VR6 EV or just use the entire OBD1 Mk3 VR6
stuff into a 5 cyl. automatic EV?

IIRC, in other on NA markets, some EV's c/w a 4 cyl. and manual
transmission so I *think* the manual transmission in some NA EV's have
the bolt holes for the 4 cylinder.

A 1.8T in an EV might be pretty rockin.
