Here's the story, a few months ago, right before the snow started, I started the van and gas was pouring out. It was spraying so much I could not find out where it was happening. Finally I found a huge hole in the plastic line in the rear wheel well. I cut out the piece that had the hole and temporarily put a regular piece of fuel line between the 2 parts where the broken piece was taken. This was temporary as I was not going to drive the van until it was fixed right. That seem to hold. Well it snowed and and it hasn’t gone away yet. Last weekend I went to start it and gas was pouring all over the place again. This time I traced it to the line from the pump to the engine. It was near where the old firestarter piece used to be but it too was a huge hole. Once again the hole was pretty big, so big I can't believe it was just a little smaller the last time I drove the van and I did not notice it. I replaced the entire line from the fuel pump to the engine last weekend, lying on cardboard on top of the ice. I drove it around the block and it was fine, I checked all the lines and parked the van. I went to drive it this week and another HUGE hole was in the plastic line, about a half inch long. No way was that caused by wear, it looked like teeth marks.

If a mouse or squirrel ate it you had the wrong tube.
