i agree with you that the color is kinda cool.. almost like the bluestar color. my point is judging by the rather large dents on the drivers side, they are most likely trying to HIDE something with that Rhinolining...especially with the way the Rhinolining comes way up amost to the beltline on the quarterpanels... make me think something is up.. trying to cover bad bodywork or rust or maybe the van did a slow roll over onto the drivers side or something. Here on the east coast Rhinolining is a MAJOR red flag. 9 times out of 10 it is used to cover up a crappy bondo job patched over rust. you cant see all the rust bubbles with the bubbly Rhinolining finish hiding it.

you west coast folks think its cool and gives an off road look. here on the east coast salt belt we know its a cheap quick fix used to cover up Rust when your looking to flip your car. when i see Rhinolining on a vehicle like that around here its always bad news. buyer beware..

dear potential new owner

i had a 89 California westfalia - it had FROM THE FACTORY an almost identical rino treatment underneath and running all around the lower portions - what was slightly different about my now gone California is the finnish coat was painted over the rock guard - this looks like a very well done rock guard & paint job at least by pictures - someone who looks first hand (with magnet in hand and a soft cloth to prevent magnet from touching paint - ) will be able to quickly tell the story - as scott says - looks like a time for an upgrade :) - wish i were able $ to at least kick tires and more regards regards
