I had a microbus emblem on my Vanagon that I got off of German eBay until someone ripped it off the van. Have not been able to find one again :-(

What does/did the Transporter emblem look like? Was it in addition to, or instead of, the Vanagon emblem. I've seen photos of European Transporter emblems, was this one of those?

We have a mystery on our Orly Blue '91 Vanagon Weekender Westfalia poptop - on the rear there's a rather worn 'Vanagon' emblem, and below it two screws in the right position to hold another emblem, but no emblem. The screws are about as far apart as the holding 'pegs' for the Vanagon emblem. I'm wondering what the second emblem would have been - Transporter? Weekender? Multivan? Westfalia?

Somewhere (on the list?) I read that all the 7-seat Vanagons imported to Canada in '90 and '91 were Multivans, whether or not they had Westfalia poptops. Was there a separate emblem for that?

Just curious.
