For the non-mechanically inclined a $2,500 car will probably need that again each year or so to keep it running. Some of my most thankful customers are the ones I told to give up and use the money as a down payment on new. With all the low or no interest deals available and $100+ an hour for labor clunkers just don't make sense anymore unless it's a Vanagon!

I've got a friend near the Jersey shore (long beach, no) whose son had his car totaled and only has about $2500 to replace it. I don't think he's very mechanically inclined, but I would think that desperate times call for desperate measures...

Anyone out there with a decent little car? I know it's a long shot, but I figured I would start with the folks I can trust. Seems the stealerships don't have much...in that price range understandable so.

Pmail me, please!!

Dave
