With regard to the KYBs I'm using, two of which are gas-adjust, or some such, I got them because they were highly recommended by people on this list when I was looking to replace my OEM shocks. Just goes to show that opinions change over time.

I've had differing results using Bilsteins, though that has been on my BMWs. On the e28s, '85-'88 time period, the Bilstein HDs are an excellent choice; on my e39, a '00 model, not so much . . .
