Thanks for all the input on this subject. Hopefully the screws will hold this initial camping season and whenever I am ready to service the AC system I can then replace them with rivets or use nuts on the other side. I really need to clean the evaporator and there doesn't appear to be any way to get around the black air intake screen without removing the entire housing. I don't want to tackle that just yet, so the screws will have to do for now.
