Today I took a bus depot rain awning gutter clamp http://www.busdepot.com/j12003 and added some 1/8 thick by half inch wide by about 30 inches long flat aluminum stock. I drilled one end to accept the bolt and wing nut of the clamp so that tightening the clamp on the gutter also clamps the bar into place, sticking out from the gutter at about a five degree angle upwards. I drilled the other wind for a pop rivet and fastened a nylon loop like you use to hold down wiring. The whole thing stows anywhere, sets up easily, and holds the light in a good place for night grilling or sitting around outside the westy. Pictures on request. Jim |
