Subject: Request for resources (2nd gear automatic trans piston rod)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

Hello folks,

I know it is not Friday (begging MODS forgiveness), but this is VW related not sure if it is vanagon related, but it has to do with the piston rod for the 2nd gear on an automatic transmission mainly a 010. I think that the vanagons are 090, but VW in their infinite wisdom used many of the same parts across their models.

The part # needed is: 010 323 557A. My buddy is building his wife a 16V automatic Scirocco. It has been an interesting build. If you want to know more and see why the part is needed, see the link below.

The specific http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?6107348-The-quot-How-Did-I-Get-Here-quot-Chick-s-Scirocco-build-thread

Please let me know if someone can help locate that part. I will let my buddy in Chicago know to either hunt somewhere or get in touch with the HERO!

Thanks, T.
