Thanks to all for the advice. I hadn't considered changing the gearing, so
now I will. I like the low 1st and power in second too. I guess I'll give
Rancho transaxle a call. Seems like a slightly taller 3rd and a quite
taller 4th would work well for my engine.
    I posted a WTB for a DK trans. on the list. If anyone knows of one for
sale please send them my way--I'm still do this inexpensively so that I can
find the right gearing before rebuilding anything.
