I have successfully used switches from a Jetta. I don't know the exact year. Be prepared to solder the Vanagon wires directly to the terminals of the switch. The Jetta plug sticks out too far and you find out too late that the window hits it. BTDT If you're getting switches from a junkyard, take an ohmmeter and test before buying.
