Subject: Re: transmission for I4 conversion--will a DK fit?

Don, I have a 4 speed diesel in there, unfortunately. I'd love a 5 speed, but haven't gotten my mitts on a cheap one yet. The revs won't hurt my engine, and in fact as it spins up above 4500 rpm it gets very smooth, but there is a buzzy band around 60-65 which excites my fight or flight response. And high revs give me a feeling of impending doom, however unrealistic that is. So I'm in the mood to experiment some more. Does Frank have a site? I didn't know that. Could you let me know the address?

Many thanks, Sam
