That allen head bolt sometimes needs a little shorter allen key. You would need to cut off a little from the end of it. And make sure, it goes in deep enough before you try to turn it, otherwise you would ruin the bolt head and then really would be hard to take it out. Don't take the pulley off.

But anyway, if you have seepage from that short hose, either tighten it more or take off that elbow fitting on the right of it rather, don't touch the water pump side. I usually work on it from the bottom, but depends where the clamp's bolt is.

Yes you could do it that way I would probably remove the crankshaft pulley if I remember 30 mm socket and a good impact gun and you should have pretty good access and the hose would be 1 in. when replacing. A trick with rounded Allen heads take a Torx socket and hammer it in and 90% of the time the rounded Allen comes right out.
