Sorry Julianna, this was supposed to go the whole list. I hate it when I hit the wrong button!

It isn't just mechanical help either! On a recent trip across county, I had the great pleasure of NOT sleeping every night in the Westy, but was put up, fed, showered, and made to feel very welcome by a few of the list members who contacted me when I mentioned I wanted to meet a few of you while traveling. I had never met any of these folks, other than on this list. Let me tell you though, there was no problem coming up with topics of conversation. It was like meeting old friends again. I can not describe with words how nice that was. And in a couple of cases, I really needed a shower. Just to show you how nice those folks were, they didn't mention how bad I needed a shower. It gets hot in the Midwest.

Thanks All; Dave B.

I totally agree! You guys and gals are the best! I have had issues while traveling several times, and always have had help right away from the list! Here is a collective cyber hug to you all! You are like family to me!

Try to find that kind of expert support at your dealership or anywhere else in the VW World. And they are not alone, this group has so many rich resources, Frank C, Jim A, Rocket J, Ben T, Scott, Neil, BD Ron ,JRogers, kenneth, a red-headed biologist,,, The list goes on and on and on. My 85 Bostig/Westy is parked for now (BUTI will NEVER sell it, And I WILL make sure my kids drive it) and although my daily ride now is a 144" Freightliner Sprinter each day I visit this group and bask in the support that WE give to each other. I can't begin to recognize everyone here but this place is so very special. I tell my kids about it, I tell my fiends about it. They struggle to understand, no matter-they need to know. > > I guess this is my attempt at thanks for so much help and such insight for so long.
