I used Clorox Outdoor, a gell-ish version of clorox bleach. I painted it it on with a brush, then sprayed it away with a spray bottle of water. I completely covered every surface in the van with a plastic drop cloth. That was ten or eleven years ago. It needs it again, but it looked good after it was done.

Be careful not to wipe it with anything like a rag while it was wet.
