Many thanks to BenT for his invaluable guidance in fixing my front door/handle lock! I ended up using the new handle & rearranged the key tumbler wafers to match the original locks! I never would have been able to do this w/o Ben's advice, pics of the parts, & more importantly how to take them apart! I now know just enough to be dangerous, but will still have Steve Sandlin cut moi some new keys based on the key code. Next step is to rearrange the wafers in my newer BusDepot sliding door handle lock to match the ignition key & I will be back to 1 key for the whole Vanagon! It doesn't get any better than that!
