fwiw .. as far as I know.. the external dimensions of both 1.9 and 2.1 waterboxer engines are identical. I have mounted all compoenents from either onto both , including intake manfold runners and plenum.

I'd say you can't mix 1.9 intake runners with a 2.1 plenum that easily .. but either entire intake manifold with fit on either block.

I can't imagine that the long blocks are different depending on carbed or injected. That just wouldn't make sense.
