Hi Woody.

What year Vanagon again?

There should be an OEM connector between wire from fuse box and various loads. Bentely shows connector having red wires in-out. Maybe came loose?

Or, PO + wiring to stereo is also a junction to cig socket etc? Maybe that junction came loose?

Is ground ok? (at "star" near above fuse panel)
