for many of us common decency is a way of life (instinctive reaction ?) and therefore, no effort to be who they are. glad you're one of them, Dennis. thank you for responding to others' posts that would have been mine and caused the moderator at the time(s) to re-post and clutter the archives. such generosity saves time, money and labor. seems like doing the right thing is easier all around : ) like wise to everyone else on the only list that matters. it'd take me 3 days to to source and list you all individually by question and/or answer and another day to type it all out. mike, 25 minutes in - way longer overdue

Many of us get great satisfaction helping others. Whether it be the vanagon
or RV I enjoy sharing knowledge and giving a helping hand. Some folks do
this by volunteering as fireman or first aid responders or in other ways.
For me
this is my way of giving back. What feels really good is when folks
say thank you! So thank you for this acknowledgment.

are true all stars here. Try to find that kind of
expert support at your dealership or anywhere else in the VW World. And they
are not alone, this group has so many rich resources, Frank C, Jim A, Rocket
J, Ben T, Scott, Neil, BD Ron ,JRogers, kenneth, a red-headed biologist,,,
The list goes on and on and on. My 85 Bostig/Westy is parked for now (BUTI
will NEVER sell it, And I WILL make sure my kids drive it) and although my
daily ride now is a 144" Freightliner Sprinter each day I visit this group
and bask in the support that WE give to each other. I can't begin to
recognize everyone here but this place is so very special. I tell my kids
about it, I tell my fiends about it. They struggle to understand, no
matter-they need to know.
