Take rear bench seat/bed out completely. Remove bolts securing cupboard containing water tank from both the wardrobe wall and the fridge/stove unit. Remove all plumbing and electrical connections from that cupboard. Then you can lift the cupboard up and out revealing the tank. Tank might be secured to the van via a bulkhead fitting through floor, or it might not be, in any case you need to look under the van where the tank drain projects and see what is what. There might be a plate there, screwed onto the van, with some gasketing material. It is a good afternoon's work Alistair > On Apr 20, 2014, at 10:44 AM, Geneva Saint-Amour <genevasaintamour@HOTMAIL.COM> wrote: > > Taking this thread a bit further. > We are replacing the tank with a larger one. Any tips for opening that cabinet up to remove the old one and insert the new. We custom ordered one to fit. Has no holes for lines yet. > > Geneva Saint-Amour > 1985 Westy Bostig high top |
