My advise is to go back and eliminate plastic tees in the hose run which feeds the heater and replace them with 5/8" brass barbed joiners . Although they are almost $5.00 apiece I feel they are worth every penny . There are also some straight plastic joiners in different spots which I would eliminate as well . One I am sure of front by the heater valve . I know there is at least one more . I would advise against just looping the hoses together as that will put a negative effect on heating . Bypass or plug them up .
