You can isolate the problem by incrementally spraying suspected areas
with silicone lubricant (NOT oil) and driving around. The silicone is
not a very durable lubricant, lasting only a few months, but if
something is binding it will give you an idea of which piece. Silicone
spray is great routine maintenance for electrical, plastic,
weatherstripping and rubber parts.
