The powder coat has held up very well and been very tough. And a couple of minor incidents, both front and rear, that would have cost me the original fiberglass bumpers survived without a scratch. As pointed out already the front bumper does cut down the approach angle, not good. But has only caused a problem once or twice. And as for the mounting the Van Cafe bumper is very solidly mounted to the van, I have never worried about that.

I've looked closely at both the GoWesty bumpers and the Rocky Mountain bumpers on other vans. If I was to do it again I'd probably go with the Rocky Mountain bumpers. Primarily for the 'Roo bar' that they have available. GoWesty has been promising such for several years but AFAIK the bar is still not in their catalog.
