Re:Parting out 1990 Carat... best place to post photos? The 90 Carat is a real nice Vanagon. Do you have to part it out?  I know a lot of cars--when the engine breaks or the transmission goes out, its not economical to repair them. However, recently these vans have become more popular and sought after. Maybe you should rethink--many buyers are looking for a Vanagon with a bad engine so they can install a different type of motor. It'd be a shame to strip and gut a decent Carat that someone could get back on the road and enjoy.   Some vehicle haulers specialize in inoperable cars if you worried about getting it out of "Nowhere". Chris 3 (currently Vanagonless but always watching for an '87+ tin top. Carat and Blue/White star especially) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello All...My 1990 Carat has been parked for quite some time (with bad = engine) and it's time to part it out. I've been away from The List for a lo= ng time... can someone suggest the preferred site to post photos? Van is located in Paw Paw, WV... the Middle of Nowhere... but not too bad to= access from Baltimore, DC or Pittsburgh etc. I'll be posting lists= of what is available...Also... if you have specific parts you need let = me know... I'm compiling a list of interested persons.
