With a biodegradable bag and Poo Powder, this might be a decent option. However, it is too pricy. All one really needs is a bucket, biodegradable bags, and Poo Powder. I supplement the Poo Powder with a handful of peat for each use, but that really isn't necessary. The Poo Powder renders the waste into an odorless gel, and the bag with contents can be legally disposed in landfill bound trash. I double bag. Of course, ideally we would be returning all waste to the soil, and allowing the cleansing power of the soil to do its job. Landfills are airless, and therefore stuff lasts almost forever. But with the crowded conditions in parks and other public areas now, that has to go by the wayside to maintain sanitation and decorum.

Poo Powder is a trademarked form of polyacrylamide (which is in diapers), and is available from lots of sources for camping goods, including Amazon.
